Estes Park Wedding Venues
There are numerous Estes Park wedding venues and ceremony sites. Here's a list of our
favorites as well as some information about each place. Hopefully this resource will
streamline your planning for your Estes Park wedding. If you're wondering about a location not on here, give us a call for opinions and advice!
Wild Basin Lodge - This is a cool lodge up Highway 7 (the Peak to Peak) that's right next to the Wild Basin entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The site offers tremendous views into the park and up at Mount Meeker. There are several outdoor ceremony sites along the banks of the St. Vrain River, and there are endless opportunities for great photos. The lodge itself is a coo, 8,300-square-foot wooden building that's rustic and upscale.
Bald Pate Inn - The Bald Pate is a really eclectic, neat old building on the National Register of Historic Places. It's a stone's throw from Lilly Lake, which is just up Highway 7 about 5 minutes from downtown Estes Park. What's cool about this is you and your guests can get married at Lilly Lake or just cruise up there for photos, since it's so close. The Inn's historic Key Room has thousands of keys from all over the world, left by guests from the past 50+ years. It's also got a cool wedding deck nestled in an Aspen grove overlooking the Estes Valley.
Rocky Mountain National Park - Can't beat this place. You can get married at a number of places in the Park, and if you're looking for an outdoor ceremony with a stunning view, this is the place. The only problem is you'll have to shuttle your guests back to the reception site. Definitely worth the effort though.
The Black Canyon Inn - I really like the Black Canyon Inn. It's got an awesome location for starters, since the wedding deck looks straight back onto Lumpy Ridge. Afternoon thunderstorms that form behind Lumpy are so dramatic, and the Inn is the perfect place to see it all. The rooms there are very comfortable, the Twin Owl's Steak House on site has great food, and there are a ton of neat little nooks in the rock outcroppings to take cool pictures. Its proximity to Lumpy also means it's easy to whisk the bride and groom away for a quick 20 minute portrait session after the ceremony.
The Historic Stanley Hotel - The Stanley's almost 100 years old, and an Estes Park icon. It's the huge white hotel you can see as soon as you drop into the Estes Park Valley. A way cool place to get married, especially since it's only a few miles from Lumpy Ridge. The inside of the Stanley is the turn-of-the-century elegance you'd expect from a building on the National Register of Historic Places. |
